254 episodes. 127 hours. 4 Boys. 1 Town. The Peabody and five-time Emmy Award-winning South Park returns with an unprecedented takeover on Comedy Central leading up to the 21st season premiere. Kicking off on Wednesday, September 6th, the eight-day South Park marathon will feature 254 episodes airing all-day, every day until the season 21 premiere on Wednesday, September 13 at 10:00 p.m. With the exception of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airing during its regularly-scheduled time, it will be wall-to-wall South Park for eight historic days!

In celebration of the 21st season, Comedy Central is also launching a special South Park emoji that will be featured on Twitter whenever a user tweets any of the following hashtags: #SouthPark, #NewSouthPark, #SouthParkPremiere, #SouthPark21, #Memberberries, and #Cartman. The emoji will go live on Wednesday, September 13 and be active throughout the entire season. Comedy Central has already renewed South Park through its 23rd season which will air in 2019, bringing the show up to a whopping 304 episodes. While no details have been given for Season 21 yet, the series creators have made it clear there will be one big change.

During a May interview, series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone confirmed that they won't take on U.S. President Donald Trump this season, because the President's actions have gone so far they're beyond parody at this point, and because they don't want to turn South Park into a purely political show. They also had to drastically change their Election Night episode last season, because they had already mapped out an episode where Hillary Clinton had won, and then they had to rework the episode in less than a day. Still, after 20 seasons, the show is more popular than ever.

The South Park season premiere last year earned the iconic series its highest-rated episode since 2006. With 3.7 million total linear viewers, "Member Berries," the season 20 premiere of South Park, was up +27% vs. the Season 19 premiere and up +31% among Adults 18-49 (3.0 Adults 18-49 rating). Among Millennial Men, the episode was the highest-rated cable premiere in 2016 (5.9 Men 18-34 rating, 1.5 million Men 18-34 viewers; 6.7 Men 18-24 rating, 729,000 Men 18-24 viewers), up +39% among Men 18-34 and a remarkable +64% Men 18-24 vs. its season 19 premiere. In addition to the strong linear performance, the premiere has recorded over two million full episode streams to date. (all data Live+3)
