Glee star Lea Michele revealed on her Twitter account today that she has landed a guest-starring role on the FX drama Sons of Anarchy. Take a look at the actress' tweet below, along with series creator Kurt Sutter's response, then read on for more details regarding her character.

TV Line reports that Lea Michele is playing Gertie on the October 14 episode, a truck stop waitress and single mother who, "connects with Gemma (Katey Sagal) during a difficult time."

Series creator/showrunner Kurt Sutter did tease a "fun guest star" during yesterday's Comic-Con panel, but he never did reveal who it was. That panel did include news about a possible prequel series focusing on the original nine founding members of SAMCRO.

The showrunner also revealed that he is currently writing Episode 7 of the final season, and editing the fourth episode. With Season 7 set to debut on September 9, the October 14 episode will be the sixth of the season, if they air each Tuesday in a row following the premiere, which has been confirmed as a super-sized one hour and 45-minute episode.

Lea Michele joins other confirmed guest stars such as Marilyn Manson as Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison leader who forms an alliance with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Courtney Love as Ms. Harrison, the pre-school teacher of Jax's oldest son. We also reported earlier this month that The Shield and Justified star Walton Goggins will return as Venus Van Dam.

Lea Michele is about to start production on the sixth and final season of Glee.
