Snowfall has been renewed for a second season, it was announced today by Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. The drama about the start of the crack epidemic in Los Angeles will return to FX for its second season in 2018. Snowfall is averaging 5 million Total Viewers across all linear and non-linear (VOD / streaming) platforms.
Snowfall's series debut ranks in the Top 5 in most key demos among all new cable drama premieres in 2017 on a Live+7 basis: Adults 18-49 (#4), Adults 18-34 (#4) and Adults 25-54 (#5). The premiere ranks #8 in Total Viewers. Furthermore, among 98 cable scripted drama series to date in 2017, Season 1 currently ranks #9 in Men 18-49 and Men 18-34, and #10 in Adults 18-49.

The story follows numerous characters on a violent collision course, including: Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler caught up in a power struggle within a crime family; Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), a CIA operative running from a dark past who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras and Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), the self-possessed daughter of a Mexican crime lord.
