Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz is someone many fans want to see play She-Hulk in the comic book character's upcoming TV series for Disney+, and new fan art depicts how she may look in the role. Since it has been confirmed Disney is looking to bring the green superheroine to the small screen for its upcoming streaming service, there's been a lot of chatter from fans as to which movie or TV actress could play her on the show. At some point, the idea of Beatriz playing She-Hulk came up, and fans have largely responded positively to the idea. Now, new fan art from "ZeynepTheGreat" has been revealed of Beatriz as She-Hulk, and it just further goes to show how great the actress would be in the role. You can take a look at it below.

Not only does Stephanie Beatriz have the look to pull off the character, we know she can play characters who are tough as nails. She is of course best known for playing Detective Rosa Diaz on the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and although many of her colleagues appear to be inept, Rosa is clearly the toughest member of the force. Beatriz has also proven her acting abilities outside of the comedy genre by starring in the 2017 movie The Light of the Moon. Directed by Jessica M. Thompson, the movie stars Beatriz as a woman sexually assaulted in New York City, following her recovery and the devastating way the incident affects her life and relationships. Its Rotten Tomatoes rating is nearly perfect, scoring a 97% rating with critics and 93% with its audience score.

News of the upcoming She-Hulk series was verified earlier this year at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed that a She-Hulk series was currently in development for the Disney+ streaming service along with a variety of other Marvel-based properties. Created by Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, the character first appeared in the 1980 comic book Savage She-Hulk #1. With the real name of Jennifer Walters, the superheroine is the cousin of the Incredible Hulk himself, Bruce Banner. She attains a milder version of her cousin's "Hulk" condition after an emergency blood transfusion, becoming green in appearance but retaining her personality and control. Still, being angry does make her much, much more powerful. The character is highly intelligent as well, working as a lawyer when she's not fighting crime.

Because there's been so much buzz around Beatriz possibly playing Jennifer Walters in the Disney+ series, word of the fan casting made its way back to the actress herself. Recently speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Beatriz offered her thoughts on playing the role when directly asked if she would if given the opportunity. "I would die to play that role," the actress admits straight up, leaving no room for doubt that she would be interested. She adds: "That is so flattering. That is one of the best characters in that universe."

There's no word yet on the official casting for She-Hulk, but if Beatriz gets the role, it doesn't appear there will be too many fans complaining. For what it's worth, she definitely has my support. This fan art was created by "ZeynepTheGreat" and comes to us from Heroic Hollywood on Instagram.
