Last month, Netflix announced that Season 3 of Orange Is the New Black will debut on Friday, June 12. Today, the streaming service has debuted the first trailer for this upcoming 13-episode season, which teases that each of these prisoners will be tested in ways they never imagined. The series was renewed for Season 3 way back in May 2014, a month before the second season even debuted, so don't be surprised to hear about an early Season 4 renewal in the months ahead.

The women of Litchfield unapologetically return for the third coming. With a crisis of faith and their beliefs and loyalties being tested, each character must decide what and who to believe in. The series' ensemble includes Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Danielle Brooks, Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Laverne Cox, Michael Harney, Samira Wiley, Yael Stone and more.

This trailer also showcases the return of Alex, played by Laura Prepon, which is notable since we reported back in May 2013 that she was leaving the show after her Season 2 story line is wrapped up. Now that Alex is back in Litchfield, it seems she'll be sticking around this season. While she isn't seen in this trailer, one of the new Season 3 casting additions is Mary Steenburgen, who plays the mother of George "Pornstache" Mendez (Pablo Schreiber). Take a look at the new footage below, to prepare yourself for Orange Is the New Black's return on June 12.
