Following the first trailer that debuted last month, HBO has released the second trailer for the final season of Boardwalk Empire, which debuts on Sunday, September 7.

Unlike the first four seasons, which were set in the Roaring 20s, Season 5 is set in 1931, in the midst of the Great Depression as Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) plots his post-Prohibition future. Check out the latest footage for this eight-episode season, then read on for more information.

The season's tagline, "No one goes quietly," could indicate that the main cast members, including Steve Buscemi, will be killed off as the series comes to a close with its final eight episodes. When Season 4 ended, which was set in 1924, Atlantic City was rocked by Eli Thompson (Shea Whigham) cooperating with the FBI, as the war between Chalky White (Michael K. Williams) and Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) continues to escalate. It remains to be seen how the series will deal with the seven-year time gap between Season 4 and Season 5, but we'll find out when the show returns on September 7.
