CSI: NY gets renewed for a ninth season on CBS
CBS has renewed CSI: NY for a ninth season, while canceling CSI: Miami and freshman shows Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, and Rob. Here's the statement CBS released regarding CSI: Miami coming to an end after 10 seasons.

"CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy - a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS's rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers - led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue - and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of CSI: Miami in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come."

CBS' last remaining "bubble" series is the comedy Rules of Engagement, and the network hasn't made a decision on the show as of yet. Check back later this week when the network announces its full 2012-2013 lineup.
