Back in September, Fox announced that their hit sitcom New Girl will be getting a new roommate, with Megan Fox signing on for a multi-episode guest starring arc in the show. We got our first brief glimpse at the actress in a trailer that surfaced in December, but Entertainment Weekly has debuted a new trailer and photos from next week's episode, Reagan, airing Tuesday, February 9, with even more footage of the guest star. This trailer reveals that the actress' character, Reagan, has a history with Cece (Hannah Simone), who both "hooked up" at the MTV Beach House.

The casting move was made after Zooey Deschanel had a baby in real life, causing her to be absent from the show, leading to Megan Fox being cast. Her character Reagan will debut in next week's episode, and is described as a straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep, who comes to town on business and rents out Jess' room, which shakes things up for Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Winston (Lamorne Morris). Series creator Liz Meriwether said last year that she specifically wrote the Reagan character for Megan Fox.

"It's insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it. I've been a fan of her comedic skills since This Is 40, and I'm so excited to have her on the show.  We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part - she's the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up."

The Reagan episode will also mark New Girl's 100th episode through their five-season run. Other guest stars slated to appear this season include John Cho, Taran Killam, Henry Winkler, Julie Hagerty, Sam Richardson, Peter Gallagher, Nasim Pedrad and Rob Riggle. It still isn't clear exactly how many episodes Megan Fox has signed on for, but we'll find out soon enough.

New Girl is produced by Chernin Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Elizabeth Meriwether, who executive produces with Brett Baer, Dave Finkel, Jake Kasdan, Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope.
