Greg Berlanti is developing a drama series for NBC based on Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights novel titled Napa.

Tom Donaghy will be penning the Napa-set adaptation, which centers on the doomed love affair between Catherine Earnshaw and an orphaned Heathcliff. The novel was published in 1847.

Greg Berlanti is also producing Family Affair for the network. The drama will follow two families in Connecticut, who are brought together when an accident reveals a love affair between the victims of the crash. He is best known for producing Martin Campbell's Green Lantern and is executive producing The CW's superhero drama series Arrow.

No casting or production schedule has been released for either project.
