With NBC's primetime experiment The Jay Leno Show ending, the network is ordering more scripted fare to fill in the gaps. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has ordered more episodes of several of its primetime series'.

Law & Order received an order for three more episodes while spin-off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit picked up two more episodes. Thursday comedies Community got three more episodes and Parks and Recreation received two additional episodes also while the formerly-canceled Trauma received four new episodes also.

Community, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Parks and Recreation will have 25 episodes this season while Law & Order will have 22 episodes and Trauma will round out its first season at 20 episodes.
