Dwayne Johnson decided to start this week on a musical note, by debuting a new clip from his upcoming animated movie Moana through social media. This latest sneak peek features the debut of Maui's song, "You're Welcome," written by Tony Award Winner & Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. To celebrate, Dwayne Johnson will be revealing exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from his recording session with Miranda as part of his first ever Instagram Story. We'll bring you these behind-the-scenes videos as soon as they surface this morning.

This scene comes exactly one week after Dwayne Johnson unveiled the first clip, which showed Maui meeting the young title character, voiced by newcomer Auli'i Cravalho, for the first time. This second scene seems to take place shortly after that first meeting, with Maui using this song to explain all of the things he has done for her. Maui also uses his animated tattoos to help showcase his past deeds. Here's what Dwayne Johnson had to say on Instagram.

"We just doin' a little sanging over here or as we say in the streets, 'I'm spittin' that fire bruh!' A blast collaborating with the musical genius himself and my Puerto Rican twin Lin-Manuel Miranda. Too much fun! #YoureWelcome #MoanaMondays"

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped - and no one today knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana, a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors' unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli'i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.

The voice cast also includes Alan Tudyk as Hei Hei the Rooster, Jemaine Clement as the 50-foot crab Tamao, Rachel House as Gramma Tala and Nicole Scherzinger as Moana's mother Sina. Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin) are directing Moana from their own screenplay, with Osnat Shurer (Oscar-nominated Pixar shorts One Man Band, Boundin) producing. The music will be composed by Tony-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Broadway's Hamilton, Tony-winning In the Heights), Grammy-winning composer Mark Mancina (Speed, Tarzan, The Lion King) and Opetaia Foa'i (founder and lead singer of the world music award-winning band Te Vaka). Disney will release Moana in theaters on November 23, going up against Paramount's Allied, Broad Green Pictures' Bad Santa 2 and 20th Century Fox's Rules Don't Apply.
