Miles Millar and Alfred Gough cite a breach of contract with the studioVariety reports that Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, executive producers on Smallville for Warner Bros. TV, have filed a breach of contract suit against the studio.

They assert that they have been cheated out of millions in profit participation "because Warner Bros. TV engaged in self-dealing in licensing the show to its affiliated WB Network and its successor, the CW, at below-market rates."

Millar and Gough are plaintiffs in the suit as well as Tollin-Robbins Prods., which developed the teen Superman saga a decade ago.

Smallville is one of The CW's top-rated shows. It was recently renewed for a 10th season in 2010-2011.
