Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones Netflix series will be the second of four Marvel TV shows to debut on the streaming service. This latest series is currently in production, but a premiere date and plot details have yet to be released. An Amazon listing for the official Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones Season 1 companion book reveals not only the official synopsis, but gives us a hint as to when it may be released. Check out the plot description below, then read on for more details.

"Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check."

It's worth noting that the synopsis on Netflix's actual site is much, much shorter, which you can check out below.

"Working as a private investigator in New York's Hell's Kitchen, a troubled ex-superhero's past comes back to haunt her in the live action series Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones."

The hardcover book is set for release on November 17, so it seems likely that the series will debut around the same time, although that has yet to be confirmed. The synopsis doesn't mention any of the confirmed supporting cast members, such as David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Patricia "Trish" Walker) and Carrie-Anne Moss, whose role has not yet been revealed. Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones has been shooting since February, and if it has the same six-month shooting schedule as Marvel's Daredevil, which shot from July to December last year, then production may wrap on Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones in July.

It's unclear when we may get to see the first trailer for Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones, but if production is truly winding down, we may get to see it sooner rather than later. Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones will be followed up by Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist, which will likely debut in 2016, before all four heroes come together to form The Defenders in a new mini-series.
