Earlier this month, ABC, Disney and Marvel announced that Marvel's Agent Carter will be returning sometime this winter for Season 2. No further details were revealed at that time, though we did get a new poster teasing Peggy's latest adventures in Los Angeles. Star Hayley Atwell appeared at Comicpalooza in Houston this past Friday. During a Q&A, she confirmed the new season would consist of 10 episodes.

There is video from the event, where Hayley Atwell drops a few tantalizing tidbits about what we can expect to see when Peggy returns to fight the good fight. She then went onto explain that this upcoming season will include 2 additional episodes compared to Marvel's Agent Carter Season 1 run, which only lasted 8 episodes, two of which aired as one extended feature length episode.

While no premiere date has been announced for Marvel's Agent Carter Season 2, it is known that it will air during Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3's winter hiatus. With the show getting two extra episodes, it isn't known if that will affect Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3's episode run number. The actress also teases that she will be arriving on the Captain America: Civil War set soon, but it isn't known if she will have a cameo or if she is just visiting friends.

Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Marvel's Agent Carter Season 2 follows Peggy as she must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home, and perhaps even a new love, she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
