Way back in November 2013, when Marvel and Netflix first announced their new shows Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist, the announcement claimed that all four shows would debut sometime in 2015. This plan ultimately proved to be too ambitious, with only two of the four shows, Marvel's Daredevil and Marvel's Jessica Jones, arriving within that calendar year. The remaining programs haven't been given a specific premiere date yet, but the official Jessica Jones Twitter page released a new photo that could hint at a November debut for Marvel's Luke Cage.

The seemingly innocuous photo is a close up shot at Jessica Jones' (Krysten Ritter) desk, which features a file folder that simply reeds "Cage - November." It's worth noting that Marvel's Jessica Jones debuted on Netflix this past November, with the streaming service handing out a Season 2 renewal earlier this month. Netflix didn't say when the new season may premiere, but it's possible that Luke Cage, which could debut in November while production presumably gets under way on the second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones.

There is still very little we know about the last of Marvel's Netflix shows, Marvel's Iron Fist, which just added Scott Buck (Dexter, Six Feet Under) as the executive producer/showrunner last month. If Marvel's Luke Cage isn't debuting until November, then it seems unlikely that Marvel's Iron Fist will debut later this year, with its premiere likely being held to 2017. It is also believed that The Defenders miniseries, which will bring together all four of these characters, won't arrive until sometime in 2017.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city--forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury. Marvel's Luke Cage is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

The supporting cast also includes Rosario Dawson, reprising her role as Claire Temple, a.k.a. Night Nurse, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, Theo Rossi as Sonny, Alfre Woodard as Black Mariah, Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Sonia Braga as Claire Temple's mother. Another cryptic teaser for Daredevil Season 2 teased that Luke Cage may have a presence when that show returns in spring 2016. While the video didn't show any footage, it did reveal that Matt Murdock's favorite Hell's Kitchen dive bar, Josie's, will be turned into Luke's, hinting that Luke Cage himself may take over the bar. While we wait for more details, take a look at this mysterious photo below.
