It's only been a few weeks since production started on Sony Pictures' Jumanji 2, but we've already been inundated with set photos and video from stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. Today, Dwayne Johnson shared the first look at Nick Jonas in full costume on set, although no details about his character have been revealed. Nick Jonas also took to social media today, to share a photo with Jack Black on set.

The photos surfaced from both Dwayne Johnson and Nick Jonas' Instagram pages, although neither actor would shed any light on Nick Jonas' character. Dwayne Johnson did reveal how excited he was to add Nick Jonas to the team, while adding a surprising reveal about who sings the most on set. Here's what he had to say on Instagram below about his Jumanji 2 co-star.

"Officially welcoming my guy @NickJonas to #Jumanji. Great dude, great positive energy and very talented. He's gonna kill this role like I kill things with my bare hands. The jungle awaits. The adventure continues. And ironically the one who sings the most on set is Jack Black. #OnLocation #Hawaii #WelcomeToTheFamilyNick #Jumanji"

Nick Jonas also shared the same photo on his Instagram, along with another photo where he's seen alongside Jack Black. Since he is on location in Hawaii, it seems clear that his character is part of the actual Jumanji game, serving as an avatar for one of the other characters. It was recently reported that Alex Wolff, one of the new cast members described by Dwayne Johnson as the "Jumanji juniors," is playing a young boy named Spencer, whose avatar in the Jumanji game is Dwayne Johnson's character, Dr. Smolder Bravestone.

The other "Jumanji juniors" are Ser'Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner, but we don't know which avatars will represent them. It is believed that Karen Gillan's Jumanji 2 character, Ruby Roundhouse, has been trapped in the game since she was a child, since the actress teased on social media that there is a reason she is wearing "child-sized clothes." Take a look at the latest photos from the Jumanji set as production continues.
