Amazon Studios descended upon New York Comic Con over the weekend, where they premiered the adrenaline-charged teaser trailer for one of the most anticipated series of 2018, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, from Paramount Television and Skydance Television, which will debut on Prime Video. The one-hour, eight-episode dramatic series marks the first time Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan character has been featured on television and stars John Krasinski as Jack Ryan and is executive produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) who also serves as the showrunner. Also executive producing the series are Krasinski, Academy Award nominated director Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) who also directed the pilot, Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes and Graham Roland (Almost Human).

At the NYCC panel, John Krasinski, Cuse and Roland were joined by cast member Abbie Cornish (Limitless). In addition to the never-before-seen teaser trailer, New York Comic Con attendees were also shown exclusive footage and artwork from next year's thrilling series. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is a reinvention of the famed and lauded Tom Clancy hero, a character who has been portrayed in feature films by various Hollywood stars. The series follows an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that throws him into the center of a treacherous stratagem with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.

An Amazon Prime Exclusive Series, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is an action-packed spy thriller that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats through every twist and turn. Jack Ryan is a reinvention with a modern sensibility of the famed and lauded Tom Clancy hero, a character with a star-filled Hollywood history, having been previously portrayed by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine. The cast also includes Abbie Cornish as Cathy Mueller, Ali Suliman as Hani, Amir El-Masry as Ibrahim, Dina Shihabi as Suleiman, John Hoogenakker as Matice, Marie-Josée Croze as Sandrine, Mena Massoud as Tarek Kassar, Peter Fonda as Mr. Mueller, Timothy Hutton as Singer and Wendell Pierce as James Greer.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan will be executive produced with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form (Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Brad Fuller, as well as Skydance's David Ellison and Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Star Trek Beyond), and Marcy Ross (Grace and Frankie, Altered Carbon), along with Mace Neufeld (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Sum of All Fears and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit) and co-executive producer Lindsey Springer. The series was co-created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Rolland, based on the iconic character created by author Tom Clancy.

Amazon Prime members can stream all eight episodes of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and can also download the series to mobile devices for offline viewing at no additional cost to their membership in 2018. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for members to watch via the Prime Video app for popular smart TVs, Fire TV, Fire Tablets and Android and iOS phones and tablets.
