Following the pilot order last month, The CW's IZombie has added cast members Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney and David Anders.

The story centers on Liv, a medical student who becomes a zombie, and takes a job in the coroner's office, so she can gain access to human brains. Liv begins to realize that she is actually ingesting the memories of these corpses, which leads her to team up with a detective and her medical examiner boss to find out how these people died.

Malcolm Goodwin is playing the detective Clive, who was recently promoted from vice to homicide, although he has been struggling in his new department and is desperate to solve a case. While he is initially skeptical of Liv's abilities, he is forced to take her seriously due to the accuracy of her findings. Alexandra Krosney is portraying Liv's best friend and roommate Peyton, who doesn't quite comprehend Liv's behavior and feels the two are drifting apart. David Anders is playing the villainous Blaine, a spoiled rich kid who gets in over his head in the drug business.

Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas co-wrote the pilot script with Diane Ruggiero (Bates Motel), based on the Vertigo comic book created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred.
