Danny DeVito has been playing it rather subdued in the press this past week as he promotes his lead voice role in The Lorax to families across the country. But ask about the further exploits of Frank Reynolds, and a twinkle comes to his eye. This is one of Danny's all-time favorite characters, and he simply can't wait to get back to the role, and Frank's weird, wonderful world.

After a blood-soaked, drug-induced, anything goes run of episodes like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 7 it's hard to image how The Paddy's Pub gang is going to top itself this September. But DeVito knows it's only going to get crazier in Season 8.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is set to begin shooting all-new episodes this summer, and the actor claims they are going full steam ahead, no holds barred style. And with it being an election year, we can expect to see Frank (following in the footsteps of Leslie Knope and Claire Dunphy) running for office.

"We are going to start back up in July. We are really going to let it all go! Oh, my God! It's going to be...Ooh, Yeah, I don't know...It depends on what happens between now and then. Especially with what's happening in the news. I think, maybe (Frank) will have to run for office!"

We only have a short seven-month wait for new episodes. Until then, you can catch Danny DeVito offering up his wacky charm as the animated Lorax, in theaters this March.
