It seems that ABC is entering into early discussions to reboot a popular 2001 J.J. Abrams series. According to E! Online, ABC is considering bringing back Alias for a series reboot.

There aren't many details on the new reboot as of yet, but it was said that the new series would, "borrow some elements of the original series," and would likely not contain the more mystical storylines of the original series, such as the Rambaldi prophecy.

It was also said that the network was looking to hang onto their Lost audience with, "a re-envisioned J.J. Abrams series," since Lost ended its six-season run on Sunday and the potential heir to the Lost throne, FlashForward, was canceled last week.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any further details regarding an Alias remake as soon as we have more information.
