It's been a long road to get back home...Today, Netflix has released the official trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist, which will launch globally on Netflix on Friday March 17, 2017 at 12:01am PT. The action-drama will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes. But first, we get an exciting sneak peek that introduces the final Defender as he returns to Hell's Kitchen.

Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) is back in New York City after being missing for years. He is trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to his home town determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist will stream the first season in its entirety starting at 12:01am PT on March 17, 2017, in all territories where Netflix is available. Iron Fist is the fourth of Marvel's Netflix original series, following Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage which debuted last weekend. All of these shows are leading up to the teaming of the main characters in The Defenders miniseries on Netflix.

Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role from Jessica Jones as lawyer Jeri Hogarth, who will be giving Danny Rand a helping hand as he returns to New York. The Iron Fist cast also includes Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Scott Buck serves as executive producer and showrunner of Iron Fist, with Jeph Loeb also serving as executive producer. Iron Fist is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

The Defenders will air later in 2017. It has also been confirmed that new seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones will arrive after The Defenders. Also heading to to Netflix this year is the first standalone series for The Punisher, which has Jon Bernthal reprising his iconic role from Daredevil. It was recently confirmed that Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick will return as Colleen Wing in The Defenders. She will be joined by Charlie Cox's Daredevil, Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, Finn Jones' Iron Fist, Rosario Dawson's Night Nurse, Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page, Simone Missick's Misty Knight, Scott Glenn's Stick, Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss' Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville's Malcolm Ducasse, Rachael Taylor's Trish Walker and Elodie Yung's Elektra.

This latest Iron Fist trailer arrives after a number of short teaser trailers and quite a few images featuring the cast. Now, we get a full-length look at just how awesome Iron Fist is going to be.
