With the March 17 premiere date fast approaching, Netflix has released the first clip from Iron Fist, which gives fans an action-packed introduction to Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing. The scene features Colleen taking part in an underground cage fight, where the only way out of the cage is to tap out, or get knocked out. She has even agreed to take on two men at the same time, both of whom are twice her size, but Colleen Wing proves the age-old adage true, that you should never judge a book by its cover.

While we don't get much context into why Colleen Wing wants to fight two guys at once, this clip from Netflix shows that she certainly knows how to take care of herself. While she does get into a bit of trouble for a second, when one of her opponents gets knocked out on top of her, she has no trouble taking out her second opponent, locking him in a nasty armbar before finishing him off in a literally bone-crunching fashion. Danny Rand (Finn Jones), nor any of the other main characters aren't anywhere to be found in this clip. But the Netflix YouTube page did offer this brief description for the video.

"Colleen Wing learned martial arts after everything else was taken from her. Now, she's putting her abilities to the test."

This clip comes just one day after the new Iron Fist trailer arrived, as the countdown continues towards the March 17 premiere date. The series centers on billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones), who is back in New York City after being missing for fifteen years, after being presumed dead in a plane crash. He mysteriously returns to his home town determined to reclaim his birthright and family company, but, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist will stream the first season in its entirety starting at 12:01am PT on March 17, 2017, in all territories where Netflix is available. The Netflix original series Iron Fist is the fourth of four epic live-action adventure series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage which are now streaming, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in The Defenders) to premiere only on Netflix. The drama will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes. Netflix has not announced when The Defenders will air yet, but production is already under way, with the show believed to premiere later this year on the streaming service.

Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role from Jessica Jones as lawyer Jeri Hogarth, who will be giving Danny Rand a helping hand as he returns to New York. The Iron Fist cast also includes Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Scott Buck serves as executive producer and showrunner of Iron Fist, with Jeph Loeb also serving as executive producer. Iron Fist is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. Take a look at the first clip from Iron Fist featuring Colleen Wing in action.
