Today, Netflix released Marvel's Iron Fist Danny Rand key art in the form of a motion poster and a featurette titled "I Am Danny Rand" which explores the unbelievable story of Danny's 15-year disappearance, the cold reality he faces after returning to New York to reconnect with his past, and his fight against the dark forces in the world. Finn Jones is on hand to explain new details about his character, along with never-before-seen footage from the show that features some of Danny's training, along with a hint at how he first comes into contact with Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick). All 13 episodes of Marvel's Iron Fist will premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 17.

Netflix debuted this preview on their YouTube, which shows Finn Jones' barefoot character Danny Rand returning to New York, only to discover his old childhood friends, Ward (Tom Pelphrey) and Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup) are now billionaires and the company Danny's father started. We also get to see footage of Danny taking out a number of Ward and Joy's security guards, along with footage of Colleen Wing watching Danny fight in a street alley, which may be how they first meet. We've previously seen a clip of Colleen taking on two men twice her size in a cage fight, and while she can clearly take care of her self, this footage hints that she's certainly intrigued with Danny Rand.

Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. While he mysteriously returns to his home town determined to reclaim his birthright and family company, he is forced into action when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist will stream the first season in its entirety starting at 12:01am PT on March 17, 2017, in all territories where Netflix is available. The Netflix original series Iron Fist is the fourth of four epic live-action adventure series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage which are now streaming, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in The Defenders) to premiere only on Netflix. The drama will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes. Netflix has not announced when The Defenders will air yet, but production is already under way, with the show believed to premiere later this year on the streaming service.

Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role from Jessica Jones as lawyer Jeri Hogarth, who will be giving Danny Rand a helping hand as he returns to New York. The Iron Fist cast also includes Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Scott Buck serves as executive producer and showrunner of Iron Fist, with Jeph Loeb also serving as executive producer.
