Though it went from being a big blockbuster movie release to an 8-episode ABC TV series, there is still a lot of excitement for Marvel's Inhumans, which will debut in IMAX theaters before hitting the small screen. The show is currently in production, and we have the latest sneak peek from the set. These images are cool in that they show us Gorgon for the first time, as played by Eme Ikwuakor. Though, the secret spy who captured these images didn't quite know what he was looking at. Twitter user Anthony Quintano said this after stumbling upon the scene.

"Caught some filming on Makapuu Beach this afternoon. Any idea what it was @reelnewshawaii?"

As you can see, he was stymied by the presence of Eme, but it has since been confirmed that's who's in the pictures. Makapuu Beach is in Oahu, Hawaii, where the show is currently shooting. Marvel's Inhumans has been in the works of a long time, but as the Inhumans' presence began to grow more and more on ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel decided that TV should be their permeant home.

The first two episodes of Inhumans will have their debut in IMAX theaters across the U.S. this fall, with the show premiering on ABC September 26. Since it began production earlier in the year, we've seen quite a bit of action on set. While we see Eme Ikwuakor in costume here, his Gorgon character will require a good bit of CGI to enhance his signature cloven feet and bull-like legs. As you can see, his costume isn't all that exciting, as Marvel is taking a more streamlined approach to these characters with its limited TV budget that is being helped along by IMAX to insure that VFX aren't skimped on. Gordon apparently won't be wearing his iconic comic book headgear.

You can see that he is wearing black sleeves from his knees down, which will likely be replaced with CGI later. Just yesterday, Medusa was spotted on set with her head shaved. We have those images and video featuring actress Serinda Swan. And we have other photos and video that show star Anson Mount as Black Bolt, the leader of the Inhumans, who appears to be on the run. It's believed that this limited run series will be directly connected to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is expected to return this fall alongside Inhumans. The first two episodes of the show will debut in IMAX theaters on Friday, September 1 for a two week run. Here's your latest sneak peek from the set.
