Happy National Dog Day! To kick off opening week and in honor of National Dog Day, Marvel's Inhumans reveals the new Lockjaw character art. Today, the Inhumans Royal Family's loyal bulldog Lockjaw, and IMAX have partnered with the SoCal Bulldog Rescue Network and Bulldog Club of America to help fellow bulldogs find their own families.

Fans in Southern California who stop by the Irvine Spectrum on Saturday, August 26, from 1-5 pm in front of the Edwards IMAX theatre will have the opportunity to check out the adorable bulldogs and take a photo with the IMAX-Sized Lockjaw. Exclusively on National Dog Day, Atom Tickets (www.atomtickets.com) will offer fans $5 off their cart with a purchase of 2 or more tickets to Marvel's Inhumans, an opportunity to bring your human best friend.

Tickets to Marvel's Inhumans in IMAX theaters are now available. Marvel's Inhumans a new television series exploring the never-before-told epic journey of Black Bolt and the Royal Family, will be brought to life in a way that has never been done when a version of the first two episodes, shot entirely with IMAX cameras, premieres exclusively in IMAX theatres for a limited two-week run beginning on September 1, 2017. ABC will then air the entirety of the series, including additional exclusive content, starting on Sept. 29.

In Inhumans, Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city must help his race survive against all odds. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself. The legendary comic book series will be brought to life in a way that has never been done before, as a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theaters for a two-week period beginning September 1, 2017. After escaping from their homeland of Atillan, it is believed that the Inhumans set up shop in Hawaii, since the TV series has been shooting in Hawaii for the past several months. The cast includes Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Ken Leung as Karnak, Mike Moh as Triton, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Ellen Woglom as an unspecified character. Scott Buck, who served as showrunner on Iron Fist, is serving as a writer and executive producer, along with Jeph Loeb (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage) with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (The Delivery, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes. This series is a Marvel and IMAX project and is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

After the two-week run in IMAX theaters, which starts on September 1 and includes the first two episodes of the series, the series will air on ABC starting September 29. Marvel's Inhumans were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965.
