'Where does it come from? This quest? This need to solve life's mysteries. The simplest of questions can never be answered. Perhaps we'd be better off not looking at all. Not delving. But that's all human nature." Teases the latest sneak peek at one of this falls most anticipated new TV events. We're a little more than a month away from the premiere of Heroes Reborn, which brings back some of the original characters from the hit NBC series Heroes that debuted in 2006 and ran for four seasons. The network has released a new TV trailer, which sets up the epic quest at the heart of this limited series.

Fans anxiously awaiting the return of Heroes Reborn were given some good news last week, when NBC announced that the show will kick off with a two-hour premiere on Monday, September 24. As a result, the Season 3 premiere of The Blacklist is getting pushed back one week to Monday, October 1 at 9 PM ET. Following the two-hour premiere of Heroes Reborn will be the series premiere of The Player, starring Wesley Snipes, at 10 M ET.

NBC also announced that Heroes Reborn will air its two-hour premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month. The premiere will be part of the film festival's new Primetime program, which will screen six different TV shows from around the world, with Heroes Reborn set to be the only major broadcast series that will be showcased. Other programs include Jason Reitman's Hulu series Casual, the Argentinian series Cromo, Netflix's Keith Richards: Under the Influence, the Season 2 premiere of the hit French series The Returned and Baltasar Kormákur's Icelandic series Trapped.

From creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC's original critically-acclaimed 2006 Heroes series, comes Heroes Reborn, an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. The series stars Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt. With the September premiere getting closer, hopefully we'll hear more about the series soon.

Aside from Jack Coleman, who returns as H.R.G., other stars from the original series are coming back, such as Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh). The series takes place five years after the events of the original Heroes, and the trailer that debuted at Comic-Con also revealed two more returning cast member, Cristine Rose as Angela Petrelli and Noah Gray-Cabey as Michah.

This latest preview shows some of the new characters as they set out on their epic quest. And it ends with the return of Hiro Nakamura as he enters into battle against a foe in a parking garage, proving just how much he's improved with his swords. Fans of the original show know that the main characters gained their powers during a similar eclipse, so that dynamic will be kept intact in Heroes Reborn. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the September 24 premiere on NBC.
