The anticipation for Fox's Batman prequel series Gotham keeps building and building, with the network releasing yet another trailer with new footage, along with a banner that promises Monday's will "kick ass" after the series premiere airs September 22.

The trailer opens with an odd shot of young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) perched on a high ledge. It isn't clear if this young man has suicidal thoughts or if he just wants a better view of his hometown, but this trailer does include the tagline that heroes aren't born, they're forged. We also see Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Taylor) warning James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) that chaos will engulf the streets of Gotham.
