Warning! There will be spoilers in this story! If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, you surely know how Season 5 ended. Kit Harington's Jon Snow was left lying on the ground, stabbed to death by his own men. Some where shocked, some were angry, but all who witnessed the incident couldn't believe that one of the show's most powerful and popular characters was leaving. Everyone has a theory about Jon Snow's return in Game of Thrones Season 6. And while nothing has been confirmed by HBO or any of the cast members, new evidence has surfaced that supports the fact that Jon Snow will return from the grave.

Did an airplane flight just ruin the biggest surprise of Game of Thrones Season 6's premiere episode? Maybe. But maybe not. Jon Snow might not return until Episode 2 or 3 of the new season. But if a picture shared by Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall is any indication, he will definitely fight another day. A reader of that site just happened to be sharing a flight with some of the cast as they headed towards one of the main shooting locations. And low and behold, Kit Harington was among them, landing in Belfast, Ireland, where, at the boarding gate, the below photo was snapped and soon shared on Twitter.

The paparazzi-style photos show Kit Harington with his hair grown back out to the lengths required for Jon Snow, tied in a bun. And this isn't the first time the actor has been spotted sporting his longer Game of Thrones locks. He was also recently snapped at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships looking every bit the Jon Snow we know and love. Because he is contractually obligated to keep his hair at these shoulder lengths during his run on the show, many believe this is all the proof needed for a confirmation on his return.

Back in January, after Game of Thrones Season 5 wrapped, Kit Harington began showing up in public with shorn hair. Many at the time believed this was an indication he would die at the end of Game of Thrones Season 5, and those fans were right. Those same fans don't see any other reason the actor would be growing his hair out. Though, flashbacks have not been ruled out as a possibility. The show only first introduced flashbacks in Game of Thrones Season 5. But it's not impossible for more to happen as the show goes along. But most fans believe that Kit Harington showing up in Belfast with his Jon Snow hairdo back in place is all the proof needed that he will come back in some fashion.

All of this fan speculation is something the show has never really experienced before. Game of Thrones Season 5 finally caught up with the last published book in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novel series, putting both readers and viewers in the exact same place. No one has any idea what will happen when Game of Thrones Season 6 debuts in the spring. The final book also left the baster of Winterfell slumped on the bloody snow betrayed by his men. It's believed by the core fan base that the creators of the show have spent too much time hinting at a greater destiny for Jon Snow, and that he wouldn't be killed off without seeing some sort of resolve, or learning who his true mother is, a mystery that has long surrounded the character.

The Red Witch Melisandre was last seen sneaking around Castle Black, and it's believed that she has the knowledge and power to resurrect Jon Snow. That's probably the most prominent fan theory on how Kit Harington will be brought back into the storyline. Though, other less skeptical fans have taken the actor's word that the character is 100% dead, and believe that Kit Harington is simply visiting old friends on set. Or perhaps he is shooting scenes for his funeral. None of this will probably be confirmed until the first episodes of Game of Thrones Season 6 leak online prior to its premiere in the spring of 2016. Until that time, we'll all have to sit and wonder why Kit Harington has decided to grow back that luscious Jon Snow hair. Take a look.
