Fans of HBO's hit show Game of Thrones were finally treated to some information about Jon Snow's backstory and his real name, which will certainly come as major shock to Snow and his new queen Daenerys when they find out. Before reading any further, this article contains major SPOILERS pertaining to the season finale of Game of Thrones. Entertainment Weekly recently sat down with Kit Harrington (Mr. Snow) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) to get the scoop about how it felt to finally hook up after all of these years and how the news of Snow's real name might affect the future of the hit show, specifically the relationship between Jon Snow and Daenerys.

Entertainment Weekly posed a pretty simple and straightforward question to Emilia Clarke: How do you think Daenerys Targaryen is going to react in the final season of Game of Thrones to the rather stunning news that her lover Jon Snow is also her nephew? The magazine was able to ask Clarke the question while on set in Spain last fall and the actress thought for a second before answering the question. Clarke than had this to say.

"Ewwwwwww! I think that's how it's going to go. I get the toothbrush-"

It's not hard to imagine many fans having the same reaction when Snow and Daenerys finally hooked up while simultaneously learning that Snow's real name is Aegon Targaryen and that he is in actuality, Daenerys' nephew. The subject quickly shifted to how Daenerys will really take the news. She's spent the last several seasons working hard to build an army in preparation for her to take over the Iron Throne. Just how will she take it when she finds out that Snow is the rightful heir to the Throne? Clarke explained.

"I've worked so hard, I don't want to share that throne. No. The throne's big enough for one dragon bum, and that's mine. That's it!"

One can imagine that the shocking news will have big ramifications for the Game of Thrones final season and it could really go either way. Maybe the two continue the incest and become the true King and Queen with dragon blood DNA, but that might be oversimplifying things just a bit.

EW also spoke to Kit Harington about the revelation, but he mainly spoke about the romantic connection between Snow and Daenerys ramping up and some on-set awkwardness. Harington brought up that fact that the two actors have known each other for 7 years and how that brought up some amusing times when the love story started to get physical. Harington explains.

"Usually you go into a movie and meet (your costar) for the first time and you develop that chemistry over that time, but if you've known somebody for seven years and shared this incredible journey in your own lives together... we're both kind of freaking out about it. I would be like, 'What's the sexual tension in this scene?' and she's like, 'Stop talking about sexual tension!' It's a unique experience to be in as an actor and you know the world is watching."

Clarke echoed Harrington's statement about the love story while also ribbing her costar a bit. She explains.

"Yeah (I would say), 'Would you just stop? Just give me some sexy eyes, don't keep talking about sexual chemistry all the time. I love that when we get to the saucy stuff it's a beautiful acceptance of a wordless ... yep."

The two definitely has a lot of fun talking about the news that will complicate the relationship of their characters and both agree that the scene when Daenerys and Snow find out will be a "cool scene" to shoot.

All jokes aside, when Kit Harrington was asked about the ramifications of such huge news on the rest of Game of Thrones, Harrington offered up that he could not predict such things. He said, "It could be them walking off into the sunset. It could be them killing each other," which is the same conclusion that we've all come to at this point. We'll just have to wait until the season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones to finally come out.
