Following the Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 preview that debuted after Sunday night's episode, HBO has released 10 new photos from The Spoils of War, airing Sunday, August 6 at 9 PM ET on HBO. The network has also offered a cryptic synopsis for the episode, revealing that "Daenerys fights back. Jaime faces an unexpected situation. Arya comes home." Unfortunately, none of the photos showcased Arya returning home to Winterfell. The trailer hinted that her return was imminent, although they do tease what could be an intense reunion on Dragonstone.

At the end of the second episode, Theon (Alfie Allen) and Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) were seen sailing to Dorne with Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) and her daughters, the Sand Snakes, to assemble their army for Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). They ran into quite the surprise, though with Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) orchestrating a sneak attack, destroying most of their fleet while taking Ellaria and Yara as his hostage, with Theon sadly reverting to his cowardly ways, jumping overboard instead of trying to save his sister. We saw that one of the few surviving Iron Islands ships managed to pull Theon ashore, and he was seen coming ashore on the Dragonstone beaches in the trailer. These new photos, courtesy of HBO not only features another shot of Theon coming ashore, but shows that several are waiting for him, including Daenerys and the visiting Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

While they haven't seen each other in years, both Theon and Jon Snow grew up in Winterfell, with Jon as the supposed "bastard" of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) and Theon taken as a hostage/ward after his father Balon Greyjoy's (Patrick Malahide) failed rebellion. Theon ultimately turned against Winterfell, claiming to have killed both Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson), although he would later admit that he just killed two farm boys. Even though he didn't kill the Stark boys, he still did betray Winterfell, and Jon Snow is certainly not a big fan of his. While produciton was under way, there was a Game of Thrones set video that leaked, which teased a heated reunion between Jon and Theon, where his betrayal was certainly brought up, and it seems that video was taken while the production was filming this particular episode. We only have a few short days to see how Jon really reacts to Theon aligning with Daenerys Targaryen.

Also seen on the beach with Dany and Jon are Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) and Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham). While most of the other photos aren't terribly revealing we do get another shot of Cersei looking over her freshly-painted floor map of Westeros, with the Iron Bank of Braavos representative Tycho Nestoris (Mark Gatiss) at her side. You'll recall in last week's episode, Tycho returned to King's Landing to remind the new Queen that the Iron Throne's vaults are empty and they are in considerable debt. As it turned out, though, Cersei already had a plan in place, sending Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) with the bulk of the Lannister army at Casterly Rock to invade Highgarden and House Tyrell, easily taking over the fortress and claiming all of the wealthy family's gold in the process, before Jaime killed Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg) with a dose of poison.

The remaining photos also offer new glimpses at Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen), Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), Podrick (Daniel Portman), Jaime Lannister and the return of Bronn (Jerome Flynn), who was seen briefly in just one shot of last week's episode, reuniting with Jaime as his army prepared to take Highgarden. These photos also arrive just days after a cyber attack on HBO reportedly resulted in the leak of the Game of Thrones script for this episode, although it remains to be seen if more leaks will happen. Take a look at these new photos below as we wait for more on this week's episode of Game of Thrones.
