During Sunday night's episode of HBO's Game of Thrones, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) was seen writing a letter to someone, although we don't know quite yet who she was writing to. In the preview for next week's episode, No One, Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) is seen delivering a similar letter to Blackfish (Clive Russell), but as it turns out, that may not be the same letter Sansa was writing. An industrious fan has taken the initiative to decipher part of this letter, which could reveal who she was really writing to.

The translation surfaced on Imgur yesterday, and while the entire letter cannot be seen, excerpts were translated by enhancing these scenes and flipping the shot upside down to decipher the text. While the recipient of this letter isn't included in the translated text, it seems clear that Sansa is writing to the man she recently said that she never wanted to see again, Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. Here's a translation from part of Sansa's letter below.

"[...] to protect me. Now you have a chance to fulfill your promise. [...] Knights of the Vale are under your command. Ride north for Winterfell. Lend us your aid and I shall see to it that you are [well/properly] rewarded."

Earlier this season, Sansa confronted Baelish, asking him if he knew the truth about her treacherous husband Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), which Baelish denied. Petyr tells her that he has assembled the Knights of the Vale to fight for her, but she refuses his help, wishing to never hear from him again. We learned in last week's episode that Sansa and Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) efforts to get more troops has come up far short, which is likely why Sansa wrote this letter to Baelish.

We haven't seen much of Baelish this season, but if he does come to his niece's aid, he may very well be a key player in the last three episodes of this season. Keep in mind, that Baelish helped orchestrate the poisoning of King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) in Season 4, and helped his niece escape from King's Landing, so we'll have to wait and see if "Littlefinger" has any more tricks up his sleeve. Take a look at the translation of Sansa Stark's letter below, and stay tuned for more on Game of Thrones, which returns Sunday, June 12 at 9 PM ET on HBO.

[S6E7] What was written in that letter? Let's have a look, shall we?
