After Sunday night's stunning action-packed episode Battle of the Bastards, we saw a brief preview for the Game of Thrones Season 6 finale, The Winds of Winter, airing Sunday, June 26 at 9 PM ET on HBO. Like most of these previews, the footage was quite cryptic, especially when you take into account the fact that HBO still hasn't released any official plot details yet. While the countdown continues towards the season finale, six new photos have been released. If you aren't caught up with the season quite yet, there will be plenty of SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

Last week's Battle of the Bastards represented the biggest single battle in the show's history, and possibly even the history of television itself. Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and their allies defeated the nefarious Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) to take back control of Winterfell, leading to Ramsay's gruesome death. We don't know how much of this battle's aftermath we'll see in the finale on HBO, but one of these new photos offers a new look at Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham).

We saw on the season finale preview, and in last week's episode, that Davos finally came to learn about how Shireen (Kerry Ingram), Stannis Baratheon's (Stephen Dillane) young daughter, died, late in Season 5. Davos is quite furious, presumably after learning that Shireen was burned alive as a sacrifice to the Lord of Light. We'll have to wait and see how this development plays out in the finale.

These photos also reveal Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) riding on horseback, presumably to visit Walder Frey (David Bradley), since Jaime and Walder are seen together in another photo. The finale preview teased a cryptic scene where Walder Frey said the Lannister's and Frey's send their regards, mirroring a chilling line from the Red Wedding, uttered by Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatten), shortly before Robb Stark (Richard Madden) was killed. We'll have to wait and see what the Frey's and Lannister's have up their sleeve in the season finale.

The final photos include a new shot of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), along with the High sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) standing over a kneeling Loras Tyrell (Finn Jones). The preview teased that the trials for Loras Tyrell and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) will begin, but we'll have to wait and see what kind of results these trials will have. Take a look at these new photos and stay tuned for more on the Game of Thrones Season 6 finale.
