We're just a few days away from the Season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones, The Red Woman, airing on Sunday, April 22 at 9 PM ET on HBO. To get fans ready for this highly-anticipated episode, the YouTube channel TV Show Fan has unveiled a new clip, featuring none other than Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), who is undergoing combat training with The Waif (Faye Marsay). Of course, after the events of the Season 5 finale, this is quite the difficult task for Arya.

In the Season 5 finale, which aired back in June, Arya was punished by her mentor Jaquen H'gar (Tom Wlaschiha), for taking a life that wasn't hers to take. For the past few seasons, Arya has kept an infamous list of people she wanted to kill, and as fate would have it, one of these treacherous individuals, Meryn Trant (Ian Beattie), just happened to be in her area. Despite not having orders to do so, Arya ended up killing Meryn, which resulted in Jaquen blinding her as punishment in the season finale.

This scene shows Blind Arya undergoing a whole new kind of training with The Waif, who clearly doesn't care that she can't see her attacks with a wooden staff coming. It remains to be seen if Arya's blindness will be permanent, or if Jaquen H'gar will eventually restore her eyesight. We have previously seen Arya and The Waif training during a new trailer that debuted last week, and Maisie Williams also praised both the stunt doubles for herself and Faye Marsay in a recent interview.

Ever since Arya arrived at the House of Black and White in the Season 5 premiere, she always had a contentious relationship with The Waif, who thought she didn't deserve to be there. It seems this relationship will be taken to a new level with The Waif training Arya to use all of her other remaining senses, but since there is so little we know about what will happen this season, it's tough to tell how this relationship will evolve. Still, it will certainly be intriguing to see if Arya can manage to survive after being blinded.

Ironically, one of Arya's siblings, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) will be returning this season, after sitting out all of Season 5 because his story had caught up with the George R.R. Martin books. Since we last saw Bran, he has been in training with the Three-Eyed Raven to hone his greensight, which allows Bran to see the past, present and future. We'll have to wait and see if Arya will reunite with her sibling this season, but until then, take a look at this new clip from Game of Thrones.
