Production is currently under way on Game of Thrones Season 7, although HBO has refused to release any plot details thus far. There is no shortage of fan theories and speculation swirling around the show, but today we have new details from one of the hit program's young stars, Ellie Kendrick, who plays Meera on the show. The actress teased that there will be some interesting developments for both her character and Isaac Hempstead Wright's Bran Stark this season.

MTV recently spokke with Ellie Kendrick, who wouldn't confirm where Bran and Meera are heading, although most fans believe they're both heading back to Bran's homeland of Winterfell. When we last saw Bran and Meera in the Season 6 finale, they were taken to The Wall by Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle), who had been missing since the first season and is now part of the undead. He can't go past The Wall, since there is a spell cast over The Wall preventing wights from passing through, but many believe that Bran will inadvertently lift this spell. While these rumors have not been confirmed, Ellie Kendrick did have this to say about her thoughts on Bran.

"He's a little tiny boy who gets plunged into this political chaos, and he's got this stranger in the form of Meera looking after him, dragging him around. I love the story line he has because he's this kid who's been forgotten, but he has these incredible powers to unleash. It makes me think of Stranger Things a bit. He looks small and weak, and yet he's got this immense strength and capability of mind. That's going to be one of the most exciting things in the coming episodes because he can reveal all of the past and the future."

In the Season 6 finale, one of Bran Stark's greensight visions finally confirmed a long-held fan theory, that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is actually not the bastard son of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), but the offspring of Ned's sister Lyanna Stark, and Rhaegar Targaryen, which actually gives him an incredibly strong claim to the Iron Throne in King's Landing. It is believed that Bran and Meera will tell Jon Snow about his real parents, but wherever Bran goes, Meera will be there to protect him. Here's what she had to say below.

"Meera's main job is the protector. She's not going to storm in there and tell everyone what to do. She's the bodyguard. She's the one who's got Bran's back, and she's making sure that he gets to the places he needs to get to. She sees this as her duty to carry out this mission for him. It's in her blood; the Reeds are fiercely loyal to the Starks, and she'll give everything that it takes to protect Bran. She's the only woman to have killed a White Walker. Pretty cool, right?"

The actress also revealed that Isaac Hempstead Wright has been getting taller and "heavier to carry," since she actually drags Isaac Hempstead Wright around on that sled. She also teased that the production sometimes use a silicone model of Bran Stark for wide shots, which the actress described as "creepy" because "it looks just like Isaac. Hopefully we'll have more on Game of Thrones very soon, before it debuts on HBO this summer.
