In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, FX's hit Sons of Anarchy is going to make a return in September.

The cabler has ordered a 13-episode third season of the show, which is the highest-rated basic cable drama this year. In addition to that, Kurt Sutter, the creator, has inked a two-year deal to remain as the showrunner. All of the series' regulars are coming back as well.

The recent finale of the show drew 4.3 million viewers Tuesday night and earned a 2.3 rating in the adult demographic.

"The success of' Sons of Anarchy' is very gratifying and the show has become a bona-fide hit," stated FX president-general manager John Landgraf. "The critics have recognized Sons as one the best series on television, and the show has earned its place alongside FX's great drama series."
