Fox Renews Human Target and Lie to Me and Picks Up 5 New Series'
It seems that two Fox bubble series will both survive for one more season while the network picked up five new pilots at the same time. The Live Feed is reporting that Fox is renewing Human Target for a second season and Lie to Me for a third season.
Both shows were considered on the bubble for renewal and Lie to Me showrunner Shawn Ryan, recently left the show as well. While it wasn't certain, the site speculates that Fox will likely hand out 13-episode orders to both series.
RideAlong is set in Chicago and centers on a lone cop and the city's first female police chief as they both try to clean up the city by themselves and Lone Star is a drama that deals with a con man and the Texas oil industry. The half-hour series' Traffic Light, a single-parent comedy, and Keep Hope Alive, a male relationship comedy, were said to be contenders for an hour live-action comedy block on the network. Wilde Kingdom comes from Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz and star Will Arnett, both of whom wrote the pilot. Arnett stars as a Beverly Hills socialite who falls for a liberal woman who despises everything he stands for.
None of these series' have been given official fall release dates as of yet, but we'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we have any new information on any of these new series'.
