Flash zoomed into Comic-Con for an exclusive look at Season 3, and the new trailer revealed the big nemesis coming this fall. Prepare yourself for Doctor Alchemy, a notorious chemist voiced by Tobin Bell who suffers personality disorder. Also known as Mr. Element Albert Desmond, this bad guy likes to create elemental weapons using his cover as a Central City Police forsenics lab technician. He is also known to posses the Philosopher's Stone, which once belonged to the sorcerer Merlin. When pressing the stone, Doctor Alchemy is able to transmute any one given element into another. He can turn steel into rubber, and oxygen into deadly carbon monoxide. He is also able to transform the human body, and once, in the comic books, turned the Flash into water vapor.

CW was, for a time, a network that you watched if you were a teenager in high school, or you had some form of guilty pleasure show that aired on a weeknight that you didn't admit to your friends you were watching. That is no longer the case. The network has been killing it with their stable of DC Comics based superhero shows, and The Flash is leading the pack as Barry Allen is heading toward a promising third season. As if fans weren't excited enough already, The CW just piled onto that excitement with a brand new, epic trailer for The Flash Season 3.

The network first debuted the footage during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con, which is currently taking place in Downtown San Diego, California. The Flash has done nothing but pick up steam for two seasons, and this new season promises to possibly be the best yet, with new additions to the cast, and knowing that it will be adapting the famous and beloved Flashpoint comic book storyline from Geoff Johns. Plus, we will be getting to see Wally West take on the role of Kid Flash and so much more. Outside of what we already knew heading into the new season, this footage only gets us that much more excited for the return of The Flash this fall.

Without question, the most exciting thing about the new season is the adaptation of the The Flashpoint storyline. The story debuted in the comics in 2011, and was written by Geoff Johns. It is set in a world that has been drastically altered, where Barry Allen wakes up one day and realizes he has no powers, and he is also the only one that realizes how other DC Comics characters have been altered. For example, Captain Cold has become Central City's hero, the Justice League no longer exists and it was actually Bruce Wayne who was killed when he was just a boy, instead of his parents.

We know that Grant Gustin will be headlining season 3 of The Flash as Barry Allen, and he will be joined by plenty of familiar faces. Keiynan Lonsdale will be returning as Wally West, who we know will be playing Kid Flash this season. Not only that, but Harry Potter star Tom Felton has been added to the cast and will be something of a new antagonist for Barry, which should be a welcome addition. Last, but most certainly not least, Kevin Smith will be returning to the director's chair for the seventh episode in season 3, after his highly praised work on the season 2 episode "The Runaway Dinosaur." Smith's next episode is reportedly being penned by X-Men: First Class writer Zack Stentz.

Warner Bros. may be having a little bit of trouble on the movie side of things when it comes to DC Comics, but the TV side of things has been rock solid so far, and it looks like it is only going to get better from here. Be sure to check out the brand new trailer for season 3 of The Flash for yourself below. The Flash is set to return this fall, along with Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on The CW.
