Residents of Los Angeles are too busy getting a tan, bringing in their groceries and skateboarding to realize that zombies are lurking nearby in three new trailers for AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, debuting this August on AMC. As you can see, these normal citizens do not exactly "fear" these walkers, but we have a hunch that will all change soon. The spinoff show is set in the early days of the zombie plague, on the other side of the country from Rick and his survivors in the flagship series The Walking Dead.

A companion series to The Walking Dead, the #1 show on television among adults 18-49, Fear the Walking Dead takes us back to the beginning of the zombie apocalypse - a time when the world was changing rapidly for reasons unknown, before anyone understood exactly what was happening, when life as everyone knew it was upended and altered in ways no one could have ever imagined. The series, set in Los Angeles, stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam Carey as Alicia, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Rubén Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Masöhn as Ofelia and Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris.

Later this week, the cast and producers of Fear the Walking Dead will descend upon Comic-Con with a Hall H panel on Friday, July 10. Stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam Carey, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lorenzo James Henrie, Rubén Blades and Mercedes Masöhn will be in attendance, along with Executive Producer and Showrunner Dave Erickson, Executive Producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert. While we wait for more details from SDCC later this week, check out the new trailers for this highly-anticipated series.
