A new Fear the Walking Dead poster teases an interesting origin point for the zombie outbreak that will eventually spread across the Unite States and other parts of the world. This latest promo boldly proclaims "Fear Begins Here!" And shows zombie footprints in the wet sand leading away from Santa Monica pier. Will we get to see a gruesome zombie attack on the Ferris Wheel of this iconic Los Angles location? There hasn't been a more promising or exciting poster released for this series yet!

Fear the Walking Dead isn't a spinoff, but instead described as the 'official' companion series of the extremely popular The Walking Dead. Robert Kirkman, who created the comic book series this AMC TV franchise is based on, is executive producing alongside Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson. Co-Executive Producer Adam Davidson directed the pilot, as well as the second and third episodes. Set in Los Angeles, Fear the Walking Dead follows new characters and storylines, headlined by Kim Dickens as High School counselor Madison, Cliff Curtis as her lover and fellow High School teacher Travis, Frank Dillane as her son Nick and Alycia Debnam Carey as her daughter Alicia. Also joining the cast as series regulars are Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza and Mercedes Masöhn as Ofelia. Rubén Blades recently signed on, with Southland's Shawn Hatosy set to appear later in this first season's six episode run when it debuts this August.

Fear the Walking Dead will have a big presence at this year's Comic Con, with most of the cast and crew in attendance. Will we learn more about ground zero of the zombie apocalypse when they hit Hall H at 1PM, Friday July 10? Take a look at this very enticing poster, and ask yourself, if this is truly a time of trails and suffering, who is carrying this walker?
