The upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths looms over the ArrowVerse right now, and it's making everyone a little nostalgic. As the shows prepare for the next season, Warner Bros Television released a deleted scene from last year's crossover featuring a race around Kent Farm.

In the scene from Flash's hour of the Elseworlds event, Superman, played by Tyler Hoechlin, gives Stephen Amell's Arrow some sage advice. Last year's crossover focused primarily on Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) aka Flash and Queen (Arrow) switching lives thanks to some reality-altering trickery from Dr. John Deegan. Queen and Allen found themselves with each other's lives (and wives), prompting a self-introspection freaky Friday storyline that spanned multiple shows.

In need of some guidance, Queen turns to the Man of Steel at his iconic Kent Farm in Smallville. In the new scene, The always-optimistic Clark Kent thinks the men should have a super-speed race. Despite always being the one to insist on preparedness, Oliver argues that they "should be focused on solving the problem" instead of racing on a farm. Kent then delves into a heartfelt, wise speech. He explains that as a child, he had no idea how to use his powers and they got out of control. With his parent's help, he was able to "focus on what matters." Ultimately, the Star City hero agrees, and Superman is even able to get a "please" from him.

The clip will be included on The Flash: The Complete Fifth Season DVD and Blu-ray set, which will be released on Aug. 27. The set also includes more deleted scenes, a gag reel, three featurettes, and more, while the Blu-ray version has all three episodes of the Elseworlds crossover.

Tyler Hoechlin is expected to reprise his role as the Kryptonian superhero, but there might be other Clark Kents in the 2019 crossover event as well. Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh doubles-up as Superman in this year's Crisis on Infinite Earth. Routh wore the red cape in 2006's Superman: Returns, and fans are still crossing their fingers for a Tom Wellington (Smallville) Superman to make an appearance.

The upcoming CW DC superhero seasons are highly-anticipated. This fall will mark the end of the original Berlanti hero and the beginning of a new one. Arrow is set to end with its eighth season, and Batwoman starring Ruby Rose, will premiere on October 6. The crossover is also expected to be the most ambitious team-up yet for the ArrowVerse with all five shows participating: Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Batwoman. Black Lightening's Cress Williams is also rumored to make his first appearance in the ArrowVerse.
