Doctor Strange is currently making its way into movie theaters across the world and it looks like Marvel Studios has another hit on their hands. The movie opened in the UK today and will be rolling out in the U.S. shortly. That being the case, Marvel is getting creative with the promotional material at this point. One of the latest bits of advertising features Benedict Cumberbatch diagnosing injuries caused by and to his now fellow Avengers in Captain America: Civil War.

The video was posted to the Marvel Studios Twitter account and features the newest hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, just not in costume. Even though Doctor Strange is mostly known as a sorcerer, he does get his start as a brilliant, world-class neurosurgeon. So who better to diagnose injuries caused to one of Crossbones' henchmen by Captain America's shield than Stephen Strange?

During the video, Benedict Cumberbatch also diagnoses a couple of Bucky's injuries, such as his missing arm during the final fight in Captain America: Civil War. Also, he joking diagnoses Iron Man with a broken heart, which is a pretty great moment. Will this be a window into how Doctor Strange will fit into the larger MCU? Probably not, but it is still a really fun bit of promotional material and makes us very excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch interact with the other Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War.

Doctor Strange hasn't landed in the U.S. yet and there will be quite a few more reviews coming, but it has been received highly positive by critics thus far. The movie currently has a very impressive 97 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is continuing the trend of Marvel Studios' movies generally considered to be of top notch quality. We will still have to see if the movie can continue the tradition of box office success, but it seems likely that it will at the moment. Box office tracking is pointing to a debut as high as $75 million, which would very likely give it the top spot next weekend.

Much like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy before it, Doctor Strange will be a very different type of movie for Marvel. It will be a massive visual spectacle and it will be introducing the concept of straight up magic into the MCU. The movie was directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong and Mads Mikkelsen. Doctor Strange comes out in the U.S. on November 4, 2017. Be sure to check out the new promo video for the movie below.
