Earlier today, Marvel Studios announced that fans will be treated to a sneak peek of the new Marvel Phase 3 adventure Doctor Strange with a special theatrical event on Monday, October 10. We also showed you new character posters featuring Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Night Nurse (Rachel McAdams) and Wong (Benedict Wong). Now we have new motion posters featuring all three characters. Marvel also released an IMAX trailer today with brand new footage, to get fans excited for the November 4 debut.

Doctor Strange will mark Marvel's second Phase 3 movie, behind this summer's blockbuster Captain America: Civil War, which currently has the biggest worldwide box office total of any movie this year, with $1.15 billion. Marvel's brand new adventures that introduce new characters into the MCU, such as last year's Ant-Man, typically don't bring in huge numbers like the studio's blockbuster sequels, but they typically fare well. With next month's preview event giving fans an early sneak peek at this movie, it could end up helping the box office receipts, in the long run.

While it still hasn't been confirmed yet, there have been rumors that the Eye of Agomotto will be the Time Gem, one of the two Infinity Stones that have yet to be uncovered. In the Marvel Comics, Doctor Strange uses the Eye of Agamotto to defeat Dormammu, but it has yet to be confirmed to be one of the Infinity Stones. It was also revealed early on in production that this movie will feature the Sanctum Santorum, a building that was built upon the site of pagan sacrifices, and before that Native American rituals, which is said to be a focal point for supernatural energies

Doctor Strange explores the tale of Dr. Stephen Strange, a world-famous neurosurgeon whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place-a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange-armed with newly acquired magical powers-is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

Benedict Cumberbatch leads the Doctor Strange cast, which also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt and Scott Adkins, with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. Scott Derrickson is directing with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D'Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth and Stan Lee serve as executive producers. Jon Spaihts and Scott Derrickson & C. Robert Cargill wrote the screenplay. Doctor Strange opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, going up against Lionsgate's drama Hacksaw Ridge and DreamWorks Animation's Trolls. Take a look at these motion posters below, as we get closer and closer to Doctor Strange's release.
