American Horror Story's Denis O'Hare, who starred in Season 1 ("Murder House") and Season 3 ("Coven"), revealed in an interview with Vulture that he is returning for Season 4 of the hit FX series, entitled "Freak Show."

This season takes place at a Jupiter, Florida carnival in the 1950s, with Jessica Lange, in her final season on the show, playing the German expatriate who runs the carnival. It has also been confirmed that American Horror Story: Coven stars Kathy Bates and Evan Peters are playing a mother and son, with new casting addition Michael Chiklis playing the former's ex-husband and the latter's father.

After playing the servant Spalding in American Horror Story: Coven, who often gazed lovingly at Jessica Lange's Fiona Goode, Denis O'Hare revealed that his character in this new season will have a contentious relationship with the actress' character.

"I'm going to be working at cross-purposes with her. We're going to be like this. We'll have lots of scenes with each other, but we'll be battling."

The actor also revealed that he will be featured in all 10 episodes of American Horror Story: Freak Show, unlike previous seasons where he appeared sporadically. He did hint that he will not be playing one of the "freaks" this season.

"(I'm playing) a collector of freaks."

FX has not announced exactly when American Horror Story: Freak Show will debut, but it will most likely premiere sometime in October like all of the previous seasons before it.
