Cynthia Cidre to Pen TNT's Dallas Redo
This represents the first major development on the project. TNT and Warner Horizon, who are producing the series, will not talk about the story line.
Originally, the series was to "revolve around J.R. and Sue Ellen's son John Ross and Bobby and Pam's adopted son Christopher," however, the studio and the network are waiting to see what Cidre does with the material.
Patrick Duffy, he played Bobby in the original series, Larry Hagman (J.R.) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) were all approached about two months ago about potentially returning to their roles. There have been no talks between the actors and Warner Horizon.
Dallas premiered in 1978. It was one of TV's most successful primetime shows and it ran for 13 seasons on CBS.
