HBO has released the long-awaited Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 trailer. Additionally, the network has announced when the highly anticipated season will premiere. There's a lot going on in the first look at season 10, but there is one common thread throughout the nearly 3-minutes of footage: Everybody hates Larry David. We see him get thrown out of a lot of places while turning everyday life into cringey uncomfortable moments, which are also hilarious. Season 10 looks like it was worth the wait.

Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 will premiere Sunday, January 19th, 2020, exclusively on HBO. Even after having a death sentence during season 9, it's abundantly clear that the fictional version of Larry David has not learned anything or gained any real perspective on life from those traumatic events of last season. Series regulars Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, Ted Danson, Richard Lewis, and J.B. Smoove are all featured in the trailer, along with many others who have to deal with David. Sadly, there is no footage of Bob Einstein, who passed away in January.

According to the Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 synopsis, "The series continues to prove how seemingly trivial details of one's day-to-day life - a cold cup of coffee, a stained shirt, a missing toothbrush - can precipitate a chain of misfortune to hilarious effect." Larry David is a master of turning nothing into something, which he fine-tuned when working on Seinfeld in the early 1990s. Since then, David has become a comedic master of making viewers squirm in the seats, which is teased more than once in the season 10 trailer. David gives the mailman a speech about how he can't take anybody serious while they're wearing shorts and goes in on Susie Essman for dressing like, as he describes, Abraham Lincoln. Essman seems to get back at him towards the end of the trailer though.

In addition to the regular Curb Your Enthusiasm cast, we also see Jon Hamm, Fred Armisen, Isla Fisher, Laverne Cox, Richard Kind, Kaitlin Olson, and Jane Krakowski in the season 10 trailer. Armisen is a man in a walker who appears to be moving too slow for Larry David, while Hamm gets thrown out of a dinner party with David. The two shrug it off and seem to enjoy the fact that they're getting thrown out. In this scene, Hamm and David have a similar chemistry to what David has with Jerry Seinfeld.

Curb Your Enthusiasm will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year. October will mark the occasion. It's hard to believe that we've had that much Larry David in our lives over the years, but let's hope he keeps delivering the goods for at least one more season. If the trailer is any indication, we're in for a great season 10. You can check out the Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 trailer above, thanks to the HBO YouTube channel.
