Sultry film and television siren Meagan Good (The Game, Jumping the Broom) has signed on for the 5th season of the hit Showtime comedy series Californication. Good will be seen in 8 episodes as Kali, a smoking hot singer who sparks a flame in Hank (series star and executive producer David Duchovny), but who also has a connection with her mentor, the hip hop mogul (recently announced guest star RZA) who hires Hank to write the screenplay for his new film. Production on the 5th season begins this May.

Californication stars Duchovny in his Golden Globe-winning role as hedonistic novelist Hank Moody who struggles to raise his teenage daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin), while still carrying a torch for his ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone). The new season will answer questions from last month's cliff-hanging season finale, including whether Hank, Karen and Becca will finally be able to live as a family, if Charlie (Evan Handler) and Marcy's (Pamela Adlon) new baby will help reunite the now-divorced couple and, especially, to where, exactly, Hank was driving off into the sunset.

Acting since she was four years old, Good has made a name for herself in entertainment, most notably as a guest star on series such as My Wife and Kids, Kevin Hill, The Parent 'Hood, Touched by an Angel, and Raising Dad. Her recent guest star turn as the adulterous wife of the team owner on the hit BET series The Game earned major buzz among fans of the show. She has three major releases coming out in the next few weeks: she will be seen in the highly anticipated film Jumping the Broom opposite Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine and Paula Patton; starring in and producing the film Video Girl; and also starring in 35 and Ticking, opposite Nicole Ari Parker and Kevin Hart. Additional film credits include Stomp the Yard, The Unborn, Saw V and Roll Bounce.
