Thor and Thor: The Dark World star Jaimie Alexander is moving to the small screen, with NBC issuing a series order for Blindspot, ahead of the network's official upfront presentation later this month. We also have the first photo featuring a nude and heavily tattooed Jaimie Alexander, just moments after she wakes up in a large duffel bag. Take a look at the show's official description below.

"A beautiful Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There's one that's very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. 'Jane,' Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed."

Sullivan Stapleton stars as Kurt Weller, with a supporting cast that includes Ashley Johnson, Johnny Whitworth, Ukweli Roach, Rob Brown and Audrey Esparza. The series was created by Martin Gero (Stargate: Atlantis), who will executive produce with Greg Berlanti and pilot director Mark Pellington. NBC will most likely release a pilot for Blindspot during its upfront presentation in a few weeks, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, check out this new photo below.
