Dichen Lachman to play reclusive vampire in Syfy's horrorDollhouse alum Dichen Lachman has boarded Syfy's Being Human for its upcoming second season in a regular recurring role.

Dichen Lachman will play Izumi, a reclusive, centuries-old vampire who causes upheaval when she returns to Boston's vampire milieu.

Being Human follows the lives of three, otherworldly roommates: a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf, all desperately trying to live as human beings. They help each other navigate through complex double lives while struggling to hide their dark secrets from the world.

Production on season two of Being Human will begin shortly in Montreal and debut in 2012.
