The CW's Arrow has previously given the fans their own version of the Suicide Squad, but we haven't seen much of these characters as of late, especially now that Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad movie is back in production. Of course, we know that there are no current plans to merge the movie and TV versions of these DC Comics adaptations, so both can stand on their own. As it turns out, though, DC shot down the Arrow producers' plans to bring Harley Quinn into the show. Here's what actress Willa Holland (Thea Queen) had to say.

"We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we'll never see it. We would love to Harley in Arrow but it will never happen."

It isn't known if these plans were set to be implemented in Season 3, which recently concluded last week, but it seems fans will never get to see Harley Quinn on Arrow. What's interesting is this past season also featured Rila Fukushima as Katana, a character who is being played by Karen Fukuhara in Suicide Squad, so it isn't known if we will see that character back now that the movie is in production.

It remains to be seen if the Suicide Squad will return on Arrow in the fourth season, which debuts sometime this fall on The CW. Are you upset that Harley Quinn will not be featured in Arrow? Chime in with your thoughts below.
