While Arrow fans still have a few more weeks until Season 4 premieres, star Stephen Amell recently took his talents to the WWE, appearing in a match at the pay-per-view event SummerSlam last month. The actor's "rivalry" with WWE Superstar Stardust (a.k.a. Cody Runnells) spanned throughout the summer, with the actor and wrestler taking jabs at each other through social media before stepping into the ring together. What many fans might not know is this rivalry was used to benefit a good cause.

Stephen Amell revealed last month that proceeds from the sale of his Amell vs. Stardust official WWE t-shirt went to support Emily's House, a child-care hospice based in Toronto. Over the weekend, both Stephen Amell and Stardust reunited to present a check for over $297,000 to Emily's House, which they raised in just five days. Here's what Stephen Amell had to say about this charitable endeavor.

"Sometimes you need to put your differences aside for a good cause. So today... Stardust and I presented Emily's House in Toronto with a check for $297,557 and helped open the Dream Space Playroom in memory of Oliver "Odd Sock Ollie" Muirhead. Can't really put into words what a special morning this was. The people who work and volunteer and Emily's House are actual real life superheroes. The Muirhead family should know that their Son left a wonderful impression. And forgive the break in character for a moment, but Cody Rhodes is one of the most selfless, genuine human beings I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. What a day. SA"

Their original fundraising goal was to sell over 1,000 of these official t-shirts, but Stardust later revealed on Twitter that he would present the check to Emily's House in person, if over 10,000 shirts were sold. They ended up selling more than 15,000 shirts, with both the Arrow star and WWE wrestler coming through to deliver the check in person. While their antics both in and out of the ring were entertaining to watch, it's nice to see that it all went to benefit a wonderful cause.

Their WWE match at SummerSlam was one of the highlights of the night, with Stephen Amell taking to the top rope to take out both Stardust and Barrett, which helped secure the tag-team victory for himself and his partner Neville (a.k.a. Ben Satterly). Stephen Amell has been a longtime WWE fan, and now that he has actually gotten in the ring, we'll have to wait and see if he will return to the squared circle.
